Phambano Technology Development Centre in partnership with Hive Mind invites you to our launch in South Africa. Hive Mind is an online learning hub for a global digital activism community, including activists, trainers, and civil society organizations. Hive Mind is a part of TechSoup Network's Digital Activism Program, which is developed in collaboration with local partners. The partners of the launch event are the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) and TechSoup.

Our launch will have astounding and remarkable Professor Thuli Madonsela, Phumzile van Damme, a global leader and activist and Carina van Wyk, head of education and training at AfricaCheck, and Philasande Sokhele, lecturer at UJ. Yaroslava Tytarenko, Online Education and Trainers Community Manager from TechSoup Europe will elaborate further on the Hive Mind project. We aim to empower civil society organizations to identify and respond to disinformation and other malicious online activities.

We will discuss countering disinformation in the civic space, its important role in advocating for political reform, challenges and opportunities, and actionable tools to combat disinformation and strengthen CSOs. Let’s engage!
